Bangladesh Visa for Spanish Citizens – Best Time to Apply

Do I have to send my passport to get a visa to Bangladesh? Is it safe to send a passport?
Yes. You will have to send your original passport, not a copy of it. The Bangladesh visa is stamped on a sticker or stamp onto one of your passport pages. Visas can not be processed without your original passport. Due to the importance of your passport, we suggest that you submit your application by a secure method, such as a courier.

Requirements for a business trip to Bangladesh for Spanish citizens

1. Passport

   You must send your original passport. The passport must:

   • Have a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry
2. Photographs

   You must attach three passport size color photographs. Photos must meet the following requirements:

   • Have been taken in the last three months and printed on high quality photographic paper
   • Have white background
   • Have a measurement of 35mm by 45mm
   • Having been taken facing the camera and with a neutral expression (without smiling)
   • Taken bareheaded except for religious purposes
   • They should not be attached to the application and should not have staple marks or adhesive tape
3. Business cover letter

   You must provide a business cover letter from the applicant’s Spanish employer. The letter must be printed on letterhead that shows the postal address of the company in Spain. You can use our sample business cover letter which can be found here .

   All business presentation letters should be addressed to the corresponding consulate. The address of the consulate can be found here

   In addition to the language provided in the form letter, your business cover letter must:

   • Have the stamp and signature of the company
4. Letter of Invitation

   Invitation letter from the company to visit by the applicant. The letter must:

   • Be printed on letterhead
   • Include the applicant’s full name and passport number
   • Specify the purpose and itinerary of the trip
   • Specify the number of entries and duration of the requested visa
   • Be signed and sealed
5. Travel reservation

   Proof of travel reservation. This should be presented as:

   • A copy of the flight reservation showing the entry and exit of the country
   • Copy of hotel confirmation
6. Medical certificate

   Applicants must present a medical certificate stating that they are not infected with COVID-19

7. Visa application form

   An original visa application form duly completed and signed. The form must:

   • Be completed online at: https://www.visa.gov.bd/
   • Be printed on separate sheets, two-sided forms will not be accepted
   • Have no corrections or modifications on hand
   • Have original signature
