When is the best time to apply for my Cameroon visa?
Cameroon Visa for Spanish Citizens | The best time to apply for your Cameroon visa is 1-2 months before your travel date. However, if you do not have much time, we may be able to process your visa with a faster service as long as the consulate allows it.
Do I have to send my passport to get a visa to Cameroon? Is it safe to send a passport?
Yes. You will have to send your original passport, not a copy of it. The Cameroon visa is stamped onto one of the pages of your passport. Visas can not be processed without your original passport. Due to the importance of your passport, we suggest that you submit your application by a secure method, such as a courier.
Business travel requirements for Cameroon for Spanish citizens
- Passport
You must send your original passport. The passport must:
- Have a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry
- Have at least one blank page for the visa
- Copy of passport
A legible and color photocopy of the information and data sheet (s) of the applicant’s passport
- Photographs
You have to attach two color photos. The photograph must:
- Be original and printed on photographic paper
- Be size 35mm by 45mm
- Have white background
- Have been taken from the front, without dark glasses, earrings, necklaces or any garment that prevents the identification of the person
- Have been taken in the last 6 months
- You should not wear white clothing, only colored clothing
- Travel reservation
Travel Reservations. You must provide:
- Copy of flight reservation
- Copy of confirmed hotel reservation
- Business cover letter
A cover letter from the applicant. This letter should: The letter must:
- Specify the purpose, dates and itinerary of the trip
- Include the applicant’s full name and passport number
- Be written in Spanish or French
- Be signed by the applicant
- Letter of Invitation
Letter of invitation from the company to visit by the applicant. Copy accepted. The letter must:
- Be printed on letterhead
- Be addressed to the Embassy
- Include the applicant’s full name and passport number
- Specify the purpose and itinerary of the trip
- Have the stamp and signature of the company
- Be authorized by the local police (stamped and signed)
- Yellow Fever Vaccination
Copy of the yellow fever vaccination certificate
It is a requirement for entry to the country that the vaccine has been administered a minimum of 10 days before entry. However, it is possible to start the visa process immediately after obtaining the vaccination certificate.
- Medical certificate
Applicants must present a medical certificate stating that they are not infected with COVID-19
- Visa application form
A duly completed and signed visa application form. The signature must be original

Tourist trip to Cameroon Tourist Visa Requirements for Spanish citizens
