FUNAAB UTME/ Departmental Cut off Marks Things to be observed by students before being admitted to study in any of the courses in any Institution. One of these which include meeting the required cut of mark for each schools as well as the courses itself. Cut off mark is an agreed score set by a particular institution as a basic of admitting students into the department of study. This score is usually accredited to candidates based on their performance in a particular examination. However, students who have scored above the required cut off mark will be given admission and preferentially treated in admission process above those who have met the exacts cut off mark.
JAMB Fixed Cut-off Mark
Jamb fixed cut off mark for FUNAAB is 180.
You might ask questions like: I had 180 and above but was not still given the admission to study my desired course?
Mostly any Candidates with higher scores are first considered in admission basics candidates with lower scores though might meet the cut off mark of 180 may likely not be admitted. In fact, it is the higher your scores, the higher the chance of being admitted.
Departmental Cut off Mark
The University of Agriculture, does not really have a specific cut off mark for courses. However, candidates who have scored a minimum of one 180 in UTME examination is eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice courses.

The cut off marks for FUNAAB is 200 for all courses
FUNAAB has finally released the cut-off to be used for the 2020 POST UTME and many of us will be happy with their resolution. As long as you scored a minimum of 180 in 2020 UTME, you’re eligible for the POST UTME.
But their are conditions. Candidates that scored a minimum of 180 marksare eligible for admission into the following programmes only:
*.Agricultural Economics and Farm Management
*.Agricultural Extension and Rural Development
*.Animal Production and Health
*.Aquaculture and Fisheries Management
*.Animal Breeding and Genetics
*.Environmental Management and Toxicology
*.Forestry and Wildlife Management
*.Pasture and Range Management
*.Plant Breeding and Seed Technology
*.Plant Physiology and Crop Production
*.Soil Science and Land Management
*.Water Resources Management and Agro-meteorology
However, candidates who scored 200 marks in 2020 UTME are eligible to apply for any course in FUNAAB including the following programmes:
*.Food Science and Technology
*.Hospitality and Tourism Management
*.Nutrition and Dietetics
*.Home Science Management
*.Banking and Finance
*.Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering
