How does the bottom loading design work?
Primo dispenses the water as a stream of ice-cold water begins to flow from a closed base, similar to a stream of hail. The ice cools the water in the base, which circulates back into the base to be refrozen. The ice quickly melts and is replaced with ice cold water at a constant stream of ice-cold water. An ice tray in the base serves as a retention system and retains the water in the base. This design keeps ice from building up, preventing the entire system from freezing during colder weather. The ice tray sits inside a top notch stainless steel drip tray that can be easily removed with the push of a button.
The stainless steel drip tray is a very convenient feature that simplifies cleaning the drip tray.
What are the benefits of choosing Primo?

How long does a primo water dispenser last?
Primo’s water dispensers were designed to be used around the clock. Primo water dispensers last up to 12 hours with standard pump fill cycles. If your machine does not contain a temperature sensor, the latest models come with a touchscreen display and push button controls to provide added convenience and ease of use.
Why does my Primo water dispenser need to have a temperature sensor?
Every time your Primo water cooler is used, the temperature sensor measures the temperature of the water and pumps cold or hot water to your desired temperature. If the temperature gets too low or too high, your water dispenser will shut off. Primo temperature sensors work to preserve your machine and help it last longer.
That is the reason all current models have the sensor built into the dispenser.
