Brandman University is a private, not-for-profit university that was established in 1962. It was founded as the Brandeis-Bardin Institute and became Brandeis University in 1968. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), with its primary campus located in Irvine, California.

Brandman University offers more than 70 undergraduate majors and graduate programs through six schools: Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Nursing & Health Science, Social Welfare and Psychology.
