Antioch University Admissions (AU Lost Angeles)

Undergraduate Admissions Requirements

Los Angeles Antioch University offers a Bachelor of Arts degree as part of a graduation program. All BA program applicants must have completed at least 36 quarter units or 24 semesters to be eligible for admission.

A combined minimum of one year of full-time college credit is required. However, AULA will transfer up to the equivalent of three years of full time (80-semester units / 120 quarter units).

To gain admission to the Los Angeles campus, candidates should have the following characteristics:

  • Undergraduate academic skills including upper-division writing and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake and complete independent academic work, including a high degree of responsibility and independent learning skills.
  • Great ability to work collaboratively with others in an interactive learning environment. Applicants are only evaluated on their applications, not on the applications of other applicants.

Undergraduate Admission Process

There are two easy steps to apply for an undergraduate degree program at Antioch University Los Angeles campus:

Master’s Degree Admission Requirements

Antioch University accepts applications from master’s students continuously throughout the year.

However, they strongly recommend that you submit your application at the beginning of the priority registration period to guarantee a spot in the period for which you are applying.

Applicants are only evaluated on their applications, not on the applications of other applicants. The admissions committee strives to identify strong applicants for the program and help them become students.

A candidate who is qualified, but who submits an application once the program is complete for the term, will carry over to the next term.

Antioch University has implemented a credit transfer policy in line with current best practices in higher education.

The University recognizes that life circumstances arise that could disrupt enrollment in school and/or that changes in academic and career orientation could cause a student to wish to transfer to another program or institution.

Hence, the University believes that students should be able to leverage their past educational experiences and has processes in place to apply a qualified learning experience to a student’s educational program at Antioch University.
