About Meridian Community College

Meridian Community College (MCC) is a public, two-year, comprehensive institution. The college has served the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1965 and offers both degree and certificate programs in the arts, sciences, business and the humanities. Meridian Community College is a 2-year community college in eastern Mississippi. MCC offers degrees and certificates in over 35 fields of study.

Meridian Community College is the only one of Mississippi’s 15 public community colleges to originate through the initiative of the local school system.

The college is located on a 72-acre (29 hectares) campus located a short distance from downtown Meridian and is next to the campus of Mississippi State University‘s Meridian Campus.

Well, due to the fact that the school has an open admissions policy, being accepted to the school isn’t that hard. Thus, the acceptance rate at Meridian Community College is 100%.

However, a few basic things such as a high school diploma or equivalent may be required. Also, go over your application to make sure it is complete before you submit it.

What GPA is required for Meridian Community College?
