What is Schiller International University Admission Process Like?

Schiller International University has an admission process required that you must take to get in successfully.

Following these processes to the core is your first step to getting admitted.

So, it’s expedient you give rapt attention to these steps as they are listed below:

  • Fill the application form online.
  • Pay your application fee. This fee is to be submitted to your Admissions Representative.
  • Go for the interview
  • Attach and send all the required admissions documents. These requirements include Transcripts, a passport, a letter of motivation, proof of English Proficiency, and more.
  • Then, if you get accepted, you need a VISA to start studying. This comes after you must’ve gotten a scanned copy of a conditional letter of acceptance with the invoice for your first semester’s tuition.

Once you make the payment, you will receive the official copy of your acceptance letter and acceptance package.

Requirements for admission at Schiller University differs by programs. For Undergraduate programs, the following are needed:

Undergraduate Program

For undergraduate application, the following requirements are needed:

  • An application processing fee. $40 for students in Tampa Campus and EUR 50 for students in other campuses.
  • An official School Transcript or GED transcript.
  • Proof of completion of secondary education.
  • A signed enrollment agreement
  • Then a proof of your English Proficiency. This will be required in:

TOEFL IBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language): minimum score of 80.

  • TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) minimum score of 650.
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum score of 6.0.
  • CAMBRIDGE FCE (First Certificate in English) grade of “B” (B2 level) or higher -Cambridge Advanced (CAE) or Proficiency (CPE) preferred.
  • Duolingo English Exam: score of at least 95 for all programs.
  • If you have successfully graduated from the Tampa Language Center with a Level 6 program, you are eligible for admission.
  • Verification proof may be waived if you are a student who has graduated from a secondary school where English is the language of instruction or the country’s official language.

Graduate Programs

On the other hand, if you are going for a graduate program, the following are required:

  • An application processing fee. $40 for students in Tampa Campus and EUR 50 for students in other campuses.
  • An official School Transcript or GED transcript.
  • Proof of completion of High School education or GED.
  • Official High School transcript or GED award.
  • Official undergraduate transcript from the school you graduated from.
  • A copy of your official ID or Passport (For international students).
  • Then a proof of your English Proficiency. This will be required in:
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) 89 (IBT – Internet version) for Masters, Schiller, TOEFL number is 0835.
  • TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) score of at least 700 for Masters.
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of at least 6.5 for Masters.
  • CAMBRIDGE FCE (First Certificate in English) grade of “B” (B2 level) or higher -Cambridge Advanced (CAE) or Proficiency (CPE) preferred.
  • Duolingo English Exam: score of at least 105 for all programs.
  • If you successfully graduated from the Tampa Language Center with a Level 6 program, you are eligible for admission.
  • A signed enrollment agreement

For Transfer Students

In addition to the undergraduate requirements, you include the following:

  • An evaluation of a foreign transcript for any credits you wish to transfer to SIU. This independent evaluation can be done by one of these fully accredited evaluation agencies:
  • International Credentials Evaluators (AICE).
  • American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
  • National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
  • Evaluated transcripts should be forwarded to the respective admissions department of the Campus where you plan to enroll.

#2. Diplomatic Scholarship

This Schiller university is available for all staff of Embassies and Diplomatic Missions all around the world. To apply as an undergraduate student, you must have a CGPA of 2.50 and above. And if you’re applying as a graduate student, a CGPA of 3.0 and above is required.
