What to expect from the exam
The UPSEE exam will contain objective type questions. The UPSEE exam is divided in to 3 sections for Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
The exam will comprise 75 questions for each subject. Candidates will be allowed one attempt and there will be no negative marking. UPSEE will be followed by a Tier-1 and a Tier-2 Exam. Candidates can visit their allotted college for the Tier-1 Exam only. Candidates need to pay their fee at their respective Colleges before filling the application form.

When to start Preparing for the Exam
The UPSEE exam time table and UPSEE online entry process is opened and released every year in February. Even though there are specific time and date in which to start preparing for UPSEE exam, it is advised to start practicing as early as possible, so that you can take a good guess on the actual date and time of the UPSEE examination.
Although UPSEE entrance tests are conducted at more than 70 examination centres across the country in the month of March and April, you can begin preparing for UPSEE online entrance test in the month of January itself.
