Lovett School is a selective, private, preparatory school for girls in the town of Westport, Connecticut. The school was founded in 1892 by the love of two women – Myron H. Lovett and Hortense B. Lovett. Mr. Lovett’s father had opened a school for boys in the same town, but he decided to open a female-only school because he felt that there were not enough girls in his town to support an entire school.

Lovett School begins with Kindergarten but the school welcomes and encourages applications at all grade levels. Applications for different grades will have slightly different processes.
